Champagne Weather and a Charm of Finches arrive at The Festival of Small Halls in Emu Park tomorrow. The event is sure to wrap folk and acoustic music fans in a gentle cloud of haunting, musical moments.
The Emu Park Cultural Hall will welcome musical artists and Melbourne sisters, Charm of Finches and international duo, Champagne Weather, alongside Capricorn coast artist, Ben Brady to The Festival of Small Halls.

This long-running event brings folk and acoustic music to regional towns across Australia through its connection to larger events such as The Woodford Festival. This month, it’s the Capricorn Coast’s turn to host The Festival of Small Halls.
Champagne Weather Canadian folk and acoustic music artists James Hill and Anne Janelle will step away from their international touring and into the regional Queensland leg of this event, and they are looking forward to it.
“Australian audiences are a special bunch, and we can’t wait to feel the magic again!” the duo said.
Champagne Weather are performing alongside Melbourne music duo Mabel and Ivy Windred-Wornes to capture local audiences with soothing sounds and echoes of grace, melancholy and wonder.
The sisters are looking forward to rejoining the Festival of Small Halls tour and sharing their intricate and some might say haunting, folk-pop performances.
“Music is such a great way to build community, we’re so happy to be a part of that! We’ve never been to northern Queensland and we can’t wait to visit,” the sisters said.
Capricorn coast blues artist Ben Brady will also join the group, opening for the event.
